Mitchell Patrick, 8301 W. East Road, Three Oaks, MI 49128 wrote to ask the names of Eddy Patrick's parents. Mitchell is the son of Matt Patrick b. 1908 Morgan Co. KY who m. in 1932 to Essie Allen b. 1914 to William Patton Allen b. 1888 and Bessie Holliday b. 1890. Matt Patrick was the son of Eddy Patrick and Susan Walters. Occupation: Mack Allen was the father of a large family which he moved to Starke County IN from Kentucky when Ollie was two months old. The move occurred because of the violence in the area at the time. The family moved north by train. Mack became a well-known minister in the Knox area. The 1900 U.S. Census lists his year of birth as 1894.(Thomas D. Allen, 1997)
