Marriage: Boyd and Mousie (COLE) SALYER were farmers and lived on Sycamore of Oakley Creek in Magoffin County, Kentucky all their lives. Boyd and Mousie were first buried on the same cemetery on Sycamore where his parents are buried, but were moved later to the Blue Grass Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky.
