On July 24, 1998, Travis and Deena received a new addition to their family. Their new puppy Sierra was adopted from the Michigan Humane Society in Westland. At the time of her adoption, she was about 12 lbs. Sierra is a German Shepard-Chow mix. They love their new pup, but only wish she would refrain from attacking Travis' elbow when he lays on the couch! Travis now is consulting for ACI which is a small recruiting firm in Livonia.

12 Nov 2000: Unfortunately Sierra didn't work out. Deena and Trav have now adopted a new, older pup, a Rotweiler named Rolland. She is a loving dog and Deena and Trav are very happy with this newest addition to the family.

Trav is part of a 4-person team - Black Out. They participate in bicycling, boating, and biking. So far (Jun 2001) their team has been unlucky - they have not finished a race. They were even "lost" for over 24 hrs on one of their adventures. Trav's team participated most recently (26 May 2001) in the race held at Digby, Nova Scotia, Canada. They had to trek, canoe, and mountain bike through the course.

For the first few weeks of her marriage, Deena's parents, Tony and Judy, lived with her and Travis - until Tony and Judy, along with Deena and Trav, Deena's brother, L.J. and his significant other, Stacy Webster were able to ready Tony's mother's house for his and Judy's move to the Woodcrest house. It should be noted that this house swapping actually took several months. The six of them worked almost every waking moment away from their regular jobs on the Woodcrest house.
