Driscoll, Charles, Anthony and Girolama "Mamie" (b. abt. 1892 who married Salvatore Sansone). I only have descendants for Girolama "Mamie;" no descendants for the other children as of yet.

01-05-1998: Information supplied by St. Mary's Cemetery, Syracuse, NY indicates that her last name at the time of death was "Brusca" indicating that she remarried after her first husband "Salvatore" died in 1963. Information from Phil Sansone (b. 1919) says that he heard Mamie remarried in her 80's, which means she would have remarried somewhere in the mid-1970's. Age at time of death was listed on the cemetery provided sheet as 104 years of age! Her birthplace is listed as "SICILY." Address at time of death was "Constance House" in Hollywood, FL Information for the cemetery was provided by her daughter, Jeroma Gustke.
06-23-1999: Obituary obtained from the Syracuse Herald Journal, dated Wednesday May 1, 1996 p. B4. "Mamie Brusca Sansone, 104, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, died Monday in Florida. She lived on Ryder Avenue in Syracuse for many years before moving to Florida 30 years ago. She was a communicant of Most Holy Rosary Church and a member of many senior groups in Florida.
She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore, and two sons, Frank and Henry.
Surviving are two daughters, Jeroma Gustke of Liverpool and Gloria Anderson of Pembroke Pines, Florida; a sister, Frances Cosentino of Fort Luaderdale, FL; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services were held in Florida. A graveside service will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery at a later date.
Contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 1027 E. Genesee Street, Syracuse, 13210. Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

03-16-1999: E-mail from Phil Sansone (b. 1919): indicates that Salvatore and his brother Filippo Andrea, had a major disagreement early on and had no communication with each other for many years. They reconciled only in their later years. Also, Salvatore did produce business with Filippo Sansone (b. 1884) in Syracuse, New York.
06-23-1999: Obituary obtained from the Syracuse Herald-Journal dated Friday, October 4, 1963 p. 16. Salvatore (Sam) Sansone, 118 Rider Avenue, died last night in Syracuse General Hospital. A native of Palermo, Italy; Mr. Sansone resided in the Syracuse area for the last 60 years. He was a former owner and operator of the Sam Sansone Produce Co. before retiring in 1959.
Mr. Sansone was a communicant of the Church of the Most Holy Rosary.
Surviving are his widow, Mimie Sansone; two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy K. Gustke of Syracuse and Mrs. William Anderson of Coral City, Florida; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Lanasa of Baltimore, MD; and Mrs. Caroline Williams of Syracuse.
Services will be conducted Monday at 8:30 AM at the DeWitt Funeral Home and at 9:00 AM in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary where a solemn High Mass of Requiem will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 PM tomorrow at the funeral home.
Burial: Section 96, Lot 15, Grave 1 (under the grave of his wife, Mamie).
