Death: It is thought Nancy died in the home of her grandson, Lewis Howard, on Bull Mire Creek. She was in the census as an old woman living with Lewis. from Joe Cameron. (I don't know which census he is referring to. LMcK-25 Apr 2000) The 1880 date came from DAR.

HOWARD, Nancy, age 45, H543 This Nancy may not be the wife of John. According to other information, Nancy, wife of John was born in 1802. The Nancy in the 1860 census would have been born in 1815. Unless this is another error in the census.
