She had been told her 3rd gr/grandparents were George Allen and Polina Hicks. James Martin Allen was the son of George Allen b. 1834 m. 1851 to Pauline Hicks b. 1837. George was the son of David W. Allen and Jane "Jennie" Martin. David was the son of George Allen and Cynthia Patton. Cynthia was a dau of James Patton and Florence Graham. George was a son of Samuel Allen and Sarah Prater.
