Birth: 1910 US Federal Census lists his name as "Salvador" and at age 3 years, he is the only child of the family who was born in New York (Rochester), all the other children having been born in Italy, according to the census.

1920 US Federal Census lists as 12 yrs old and in school at the time. He is residing with his parents at 14 McFarlin Street. He is a US citizen, born in the US, mother tongue is English and is able to read and write.

16 May 1963: Obituary of his brother, Paul, on this date, notes that Salvatore lived in Rochester at the time of his brother's death.

16 Mar 1975: Obituary of his sister, Mary Mascari Palmisano, notes that his name is listed as "S. Peter Mascari." The obituary, which was in the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle, does not list a city of residence for him, therefore he must have been living in Rochester at the time.
Death: He was 78 yrs, 6 most, 11 days old at the time of his death.

25 Aug 1985: Obituary obtained from the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle Thursday September 26, 1986, p. 8-B. Obituary lists his survivors as his wife, Mickey; one sister, Mrs. Madelyn Brescia; and one brother-in-law, Joel Friend. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral on Saturday September 28, 1985 at 8:30 AM from the Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman Street, Rochester, NY and at 9:00 AM at St. Ambrose Church on Empire Blvd at Culver. Entombment at White Haven Memorial Park, Fairport, NY (eastern suburb of Rochester) He was retired from the Rochester Fire Dept and a member of Elks Lodge 24 PER.
