Marriage: The marriage date from the original database was reported as 12 Apr 1820. However, there is the belief that Elizabeth ALLEN m 19 June 1810 Samuel PATTON in Floyd Co., KY. Samuel ALLEN was a bondsman for the marriage license of Elizabeth ALLEN and Samuel PATTON, dated 6 April 1810. When the marriage took place on 12 Apr 1810 Sarah ALLEN was given as the mother. It is presumed that Samuel ALLEN died in the interval between giving bond for the marriage and the actual marriage.
