Posted by Jim Patrick in Houston, Texas <Jim.Janice@att.net> on Mon, 28 Jun 1999, in response to JAMES PATRICK, posted by Elizabeth Howard Normand on Mon, 28 Jun 1999. James Patrick was the son of our family's original immigrant, Robert Patrick, who came to the US from Edinburgh Scotland in 1725. James was born 1729/1730 and died in what is now Magoffin County, Kentucky at 106 years of age around 1835. He served several enlistments during the Revolutionary war and performed as a scout...traveling into eastern Kentucky around 1800. He talked his brothers Hugh and Jeremiah into settling in that area shortly thereafter. He had 5 children; Mary Polly (married Howard Moses), Hugh, Jeremiah, James and Sally. hope this helps!.
